onto the ground while Nguyen's grandma cried and laments. She
looked at Nguyen and his grandpa.

"It was all of our life. It's broken and burning down
everything now...! We were over sixty years now...! How can
we build it up again?"

In the tearful and sorrow, Nguyen grandma said.

Grandpa held Nguyen tight in his arms, tried to push his
emotion back into his heart while they were lying on the ground.

"Do not worry. We will live in Nguyen's parent house. If we
will have the good luck to survive and the house does not burn."
In a sad voice, he said.

Nguyen's grandma looked at her house in her tearful eyes
and stared at grandpa.

"Do you think Nguyen's parent house is still standing up
with the bombs and cannon shells? I never think like you!" In
the emotion of sobbing, she said.

Nguyen's grandpa had a glance at her and consoled:

"Forty-seven years we lived together after marriage. I had
told you something wrong, Did I?"

"No. But this time is different."

"Do not worry about it! We have done our best too many
times, and we got it. Do not give up your hope..."

"But we have not any more chance...! Do you understand
our situation ...?"
