                “Nothing  can change his mind now...!”

                "Poor my grandson...! He is too young to understand about
            the dirty of war...!"

                "But he had learned the dirty of war by his eyes and right
            here  in  the  village.  Those  things  will  never  fly  out  of  his
            mind...!"

                "Therefore I was a worry for his future. It will affect his life.
            His soul will change after he saw all the bad things!"


                Nguyen's grandma had sighed, gave a quick look at Nguyen
            again and said:

                "It is easy to forgive but very hard to forget!  Anyway, you
            can  not  make  a  difference  to  change  his  thinking  now."  She
            stared at her spouse.

                "What did you see after you had gone back home?


                Nguyen was eating a sweet potato without cooking while he
            continued  quietly  to  pay  attention  at  his  grandparent
            conversation in a low whisper voice.

                "Yes, I saw all the bad and dirty things...! Our home burned
            down. It had a big and deep bomb hole in the living room. Some
            of  the  cannonballs  exploded  on  the  backyard  and  storehouse
            collapsed. The domestic animals  die in their stalls by the pieces
            of  cannon  shells,  which  cut  and  stabbed  on  their    bodied  or
            burning until dying in the stall.”

                “Oh my God...!  What happens for Viet-Minh soldiers in our
            house?”

                “I  saw  about  two  dozen  Viet-Minh  soldiers'  bodies,  who
            died by bombs and burned in the fire. Most of them lost  their
            arms and legs, coiled on the ground at front and backyard in the
