Even woman or man, if they had brainwashed to be the real
communist people. They will not know who they were and
where they were coming from.”
In suddenly, she stared at him, and her voice had changed to
the low stone of worry.
“Did she see you?”
Nguyen’s grandpa shook his head.
“Before I saw her, I do not know she saw me in there or not.
But I took a dark place to hide after I just had seen her at a
further distance.”
“Did you know her?”
“No.”
“Does she hold a gun?”
“Yes. Has a handgun on the hip.”
“How did you know she had a handgun on her hip while you
were far away from her?”
“I thought about 50 feet from her to my hiding place.
In a moment of thinking, she had a sigh and looked at Nguyen.
"Nguyen, you keep praying... God will help us and keep
your grandpa out of the trouble..."
"Yes, I will..."
Nguyen's grandpa held Nguyen's hand while he pointed to a
bamboo-joint and took a quick look at his wife.
