Thorn In The Heart

Nguyen took an around look at the houses on both sides of
the road. They burned down by the firebombs and canons with
columns were still flaming, and smoke is rising in the air. The
broken walls collapsed and smoky beside the bomb's holes. He
kept attention to step aside for few hands and feet of the people
on the road while French militarist soldiers continued to force
his grandpa walking toward the Church front yard. Nguyen
         looked at

the people’s intestines with noisy flies, which were tossed
up and hung over his head on the bamboo’s branches by the
pressure explosives of bombs and canons. Nguyen saw an old
woman's head was lying face upwards on a gutter with her eyes
         opened wide by extreme fear.

Nguyen had inclined to vomit by the burning dead bodies
strong smell, tired and fearing of the death. He had to totter his
steps to follow his grandpa while he tried to take care of his
grandma on the roads. He saw all the different kinds of the dead
for the people in the village and animals, which appeared on
over along the roads in the village.

Some dead bodies had lost their heads — some of them
broken to the pieces, which lay around the canon and bomb
holes. Some of them were burned to death by the firebombs.
Some of them had disemboweled and enteroptosis out of their
bodies. Many people had lost their feet or their hands. They
screamed very weakly and lay on the shoulder of the road with
painful and deadly! Few women were dead, but their children
still sucked their breasts and cried loudly. One child sucked the
wound on his mother's arm that he thought it was his mother's
         milk...!

Some wounded sat on the ground with groaning and crying,
but there was no one to help them!
