French militarist soldiers. They killed him on the paddy or river
bank for warning the people in the village after they had tortured
him to get information about their enemy.

The people in the village knew some Viet-Minh spies, who
were a man, woman or girl even a kid. They were living in the
village, mixed in the three groups as the victims of French
militarism. They tried to get any useful information about their
enemy and watching the people’s actions. Therefore the people
had shut their mouth to avoid any painful that will apply to them
or their family's member by Viet-Minh terrorist agents.

French militarist soldiers understood those things, but they
did not make a difference to help the people. They kept their
hardship ideal on the young person and continued to torture the
people, killed a dozen young person even older. They raped the
woman and girl in their bad ambition, such as they were still in a
rude state of civilization to find out their enemy and get an
informer.

Two days the villagers sat on the ground under the dead
pressure and the hot sun like hell without food. They watched
their relative to be French colonial's victims with the painful
suffering and cried inside their souls. Few oldest people were
dying by sunstroke without care and help in the sorrowful.
French militarist guards around the groups dragged the dead
body out of the group and threw on the Church backyard.

It seemed the French operation ended on the area. Also,
French militarist could not find any information about Viet-
Minh soldiers. They gave people free to go home after they
tortured the most people in the village, killed 20 young persons,
raped most of the young women and girls under teen.

Nguyen followed his Grandparent going back to his parent
house, which collapsed parts at the backside by a cannon shell
that exploded on the backyard.
