Preparation for Treatment
Before attempting to operate the GENEO X system, be sure to read carefully this User Manual, including the section Safety Instructions and Contraindications, and become familiar with the system.
During the first visit, exam the area(s) intended for treatment and collect customer’s aesthetic procedures and medical history.
Customer Suitability
Determine customer suitability for the treatment - do not treat customer with any of the contraindications outlined in chapter “Safety Instructions and Contraindications” of this User Manual. You can use the customer screening checklist included in Appendix D of this Manual.
Ensure the customers’ goals and realistic expectations are discussed prior the treatment. Inform the customer of the treatment course, typical treatment results, possible side effects and sensation during the treatments. Instruct the customer with the safety precautions and post-treatment care.
Verify eligibility for TriPollar RF Treatment according to Fitzpatrick scale of skin type (Fig. 18) and facial wrinkles severity (Fig. 19):
The System should be used on customers with skin types 1,2,3,4 on the Fitzpatrick scale only:

Only adults having mild to moderate facial wrinkles should be treated with the GENEO X system:

Note: Make sure you connect the handpieces before turning the system ON.
Once an handpiece is not connected properly or missing, its key will appear dim on the screen.If handpieces are disconnected, the system will indicate with one of the following messages :
“Please make sure handpiece is connected” or “Handpieces not connected. Please connect to continue.” (Fig. 17). Connect the handpieces and press the “V” button.
