A student may elect to take period release providing he/she has accumulated sufficient credits. This may be for one class period only. It must be at the beginning or end of the school day. The student is not to be on the school campus during the home study period except to use the school library or participate in an after-school activity.
IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT PERIOD RELEASE HAS QUESTIONABLE. EDUCATIONAL VALUE IN MOST CASES ANDIT IS NOT A RECOMMENDED OPTION FOR MOST STUDENTS.

Guided Studies is an intensive, individualized intervention course for students identified as needing targeted support with academics, organizational, social and metacognitive skills. Students will receive direct instruction in how to study, read for content, take notes, and manage time and the social/emotional challenges of secondary school.

This course is a digital survey course that is designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills, values, and experience that will help them succeed in an increasing digital world. Students will develop a strong understanding of the 21st Century tools and applications to help them succeed and assist others, navigate technology in the educational setting and beyond.
