Grades 7-12 are required to have 400 minutes of physical education every 10 days.
Material in this course is a continuation of Dance I. In addition to advanced techniques, choreographic, and improvisational skills, this study of dance leads to performances including school assemblies, community events, and concert presentations. Also included are articulation of the historical and cultural roles of dance, aesthetic judgment, and critical thinking skills. Before and after-school rehearsals and performances are required. Students who do not meet the standard for 5 of 6 areas may not exercise their option to invoke the two-year exemption. They must take physical education in grade 10 and in subsequent grades until they meet the standard for 5 of 6 areas.

Grades 7-12 are required to have 400 minutes of physical education every 10 days.
This course is open to all interested students. This class performs a wide variety of music for school events. The band participates in all home football games and select away games. The group also performs at one parade and one halftime show per year. In addition to a large selection of music, students will learn basic marching steps and routines. These steps and routines will be practiced on a weekly basis. Students enrolled in the course are also encouraged to take orchestra, wind ensemble or jazz ensemble. Students who do not meet the standard for 5 of 6 areas may not exercise their option to invoke the two-year exemption. They must take physical education in grade 10 and in subsequent grades until they meet the standard for 5 of 6 areas.

Grades 7-12 are required to have 400 minutes of physical education every 10 days.
This Physical Education class is restricted to those students competing on a selected interscholastic sports team. The school annually will determine which sports teams are to be scheduled for period 5 or 6 Physical Education classes. Only the student athletes on these teams may take this class. Further, except for seniors on Period Release during the spring semester, students must remain in this class following conclusion of the sport. After-school attendance is required.
