The ,^gels at the birth of Jesus announced that He had come in the "Name of the Lord". Jesus Himself confirmed that He came in His Father's Name:"IamcomeinmyFather'sname"(John5:43). Matthew21:9confirms this stating, "And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest". Philippians 2: 9-11 tells us, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above
every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
