EXPLANATION :The fi~re drawn on the suppos.ition that the
earth (E) is in the centre, that the sun moves in the Ecliptic, and
the precession of the equinoxes is caused by the motion of the
Ecliptic. With a given Nakthatra at the vernal equinox, we can
her~ at once find what Naktbatras would be at the other cardinal
points and hence also the month at the winter solstice.
