                                 College of General Education and Languages

                       College of General Education and Languages (CGEL), Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
               is mainly responsible for providing courses and instructors  for the basic compulsory subjects and
               additional requirements of curriculum in the following groups of subjects namely Humanities, Social
               Science, Languages and Science and Mathematics. CGEL also assists TNI students to improve their
               language  and  communication  skills  to  meet  industry’s  requirements,  especially  in  Japanese  and
               English.  Humanity  and  Social  Science  subjects  are  provided  not  only  to  meet  the  minimum
               requirements of study programs but also to make sure that TNI graduates would be well-equipped
               with  both  adequate  knowledge  and  good  moral  and  ethics,  including  other  desired  qualifications
               such as discipline, positive attitude, and perseverance.

               Objectives
                       1.  To  develop  learners  to  be  knowledgeable,  have  great  vision,  understand  nature  and
               society, be studious, be able to think logically, be able to use languages to communicate, be able to
               convey them well, be mature both body and mind, have morality, realize the virtue of Thai arts and
               cultures as well as international community, able to apply knowledge in real life and live happily in
               a society.
                       2. To prepare learners to get ready for living in a changing society, and have capability and
               readiness to cope with future development and disruption, as stipulated in the resolution and mission
               of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology.
                       The undergraduate students will be required to take the General Education courses not less
               than  30  credits,  categorized  into  Humanities  Courses,  Social  Science  Courses,  Science  and
               Mathematics Courses, and Language Courses.
