1. In the event of the student’s misconduct or inappropriate behavior non
conforming to the Regulation of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology on the Student’s Code of
Conduct in Examination, B.E. 2550,
1.1 The invigilator shall first warn the aforementioned students.
1.2 If the students neglect the warning or behave against the governing
regulation, such as dressing informally or arriving more than 30 minutes late to the exam room
from the starting time of examination, the invigilator shall deprive those students the right to
sit for the examination and record the incident in Examination Cheating Report.
1.3 The invigilator can re-arrange or move the examination seat of the student
whose action implies cheating or disruption during examination.
1.4 Upon detection with an evidence by the invigilator that the student
explicitly intends to cheat or implies cheating during examination the invigilator, under
consent of the chief of invigilators of that examination room, can terminate the examination of
that particular student but should not allow that student to leave the examination room before
45 minutes from the starting time of examination. The exam procter also has to record on that
student’s examination paper both in question and answer sheets stating “examination cheating”
or “examination cheating implication”.
1.5 The invigilator shall take question sheet, answer sheet, and evidence,
record in Examination Cheating Report, and then deliver to Examination Center after the
examination ends.
The student who commits examination cheating shall be penalized as adjudged
by the Examination Disciplinary Committee.
2. The Examination Disciplinary Committee has a duty to judge the cheating
allegation hereunder. The said Committee consists of Vice President of Academic
Affairs as Chairman, Deans of every Faculty, representative from the Office of Registrar, and
representative from Student Affairs Division. The resolution of the Examination Disciplinary
Committee shall be deemed as final, provided that the lecturer or faculty in charge of the course,
student’s advisor, examination invigilator and student who commits the offense, can be called
to provide details and to hear the consideration of penalty level during the hearing process.
