 HOLIDAYS
The Circle of Care physical office will be closed for the following holidays:
NEW YEAR’S DAY MEMORIAL DAY INDEPENDENCE DAY LABOR DAY THANKSGIVING DAY CHRISTMAS DAY

 INTERNET & PERSONAL DEVICE USAGE, PERSONAL CALLS, VISITS & BUSINESS
The company expects the full attention of its employees while they are working. Although employees may occasionally have to take care of personal matters during the workday, employees should try to conduct such personal business either before or after the workday or during a scheduled break (lunch).
Office Staff - Employees should handle personal visits or personal transactions during lunch break. Access is allowed in urgent or emergency matters; however, use is defined as excessive if it interferes with normal job functions, responsiveness, or the ability to perform daily job activities. Engaging in social media platforms and/or watching streaming/downloaded movies or television on any device during working hours is prohibited. Listening to music is allowed but limited to head phone use in one ear only and at an acceptable volume level that does not interfere with your coworkers and their ability to perform their duties. A pattern of excessive personal visits/business is not acceptable and may lead to disciplinary action. Excessive use is determined by department supervisors/managers.
Therapists - Texting, making or receiving phone calls and sending or reading emails during a treatment session is prohibited. If you must use your cell phone during a visit, notify the caregiver that the situation is an emergency and you must accept the call.
Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
JURY DUTY
Jury duty will be paid to full-time employees only. The employee is required to provide employer with jury duty summons notification provided by the state or county; as well as, proof of attendance and time spent on Jury Duty.
LICENSURE & INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Circle of Care will maintain a staff that is fully licensed and insured in accordance with all State requirements. All clinicians are held responsible to continuously maintain all credentialing and continuing education required by the State for their held position.
All employees that drive as a requirement of their position will maintain the required auto insurance on their personal vehicle and renew their driver’s license to keep it valid at all times.
Every employee that is covered under this policy is responsible for providing the updated credentials to Human Resources in a timely manner on or before the credential expiration date.
If an employee cannot provide proof of the renewed Therapy license, insurance, or driver’s license they will be required to take time off without pay to remedy the loss of the credentials or coverage.
Note: If a therapist allows their State therapy license to expire, it is grounds for termination.
