A guest lecture on the topic “Application of Control Systems” was
conducted on 29 of August 2017 by Dr. Ramkrishna Pasumarthy,
Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT
Madras. This guest lecture was organized by Dr.T.Vigneswaran
and Dr. Sofana Reka S. Around 60 students from third year B.
tech attended the lecture. control systems design and
applications were discussed.
A guest lecture on the topic “Industrial Approach for Base Station
Antenna Development and its Challenges” was conducted on 25
of October 2017 by Mr. Maruti Tamrakar, Sr. RF Design
Engineer, R&D, Amphenol Antenna Solutions. This guest lecture
was organized by Dr. Usha Kiran K and Dr. Tripurasunadri D.
Around 70 students from third year B. tech attended the lecture.
The guest has spoken about the design approach on base station
antennas. Some base station models built in Amphenol were
shown to the students and explained.
