Second Quarter Energy Awards
We are pleased to announce that our schools made significant efforts to
save energy during the second quarter of the 2016–2017 academic year.
Due to the outstanding efforts of our school-based students and staff,
MCPS was able to achieve nearly $236,000 in energy cost avoidance during
the December 2016–February 2017 period.
Saving energy takes consistent, conscientious action and active collaboration between the
school administration, building service team, and the students, staff and community. Congratulations to the following
96 schools that have won the SERT Energy Award for the second quarter of this school year:
