On Tuesday Dad, my Uncle, and I went to the London Dungeons. I (7)_____(get)

scared when I saw the men with fake blood on their arms. When we got our photo
taken, the man said “this way, hope you come back alive”, which (8)_____(freak) me

out. We got water spurted at us and lots of spooky stories were told to our group. My
Uncle and Dad got picked out of the crowd to act out a magic trick. It was very dark. I

got a bouncy eyeball that (9)____(glow) from the gift shop.
On Wednesday, I went on a Windsor Castle tour. We saw beautiful gardens, royal

beds, and beautiful paintings. When the flag is up it means the Queen is there, the flag

was up when we did our tour, we were looking for her everywhere we went. We saw
swords, shields, and armor. We (10)_____(learn) many royal facts. From Windsor Castle

we (11)_____( drive) to the London Eye. The London Eye is a big wheel with pods on it.
The pods go slowly around the wheel. When our pod got right to the top of the wheel,

which was high in the sky, we could see all of London. We saw Big Ben which is a big
bell in the clock tower of the houses of parliament. The bell is very heavy. I don’t know

how they got it to the top of the clock tower. After the London Eye, we went to St
Paul's Cathedral. It was so peaceful. That day we also went to Buckingham Palace and

saw the changing of the guard. When the horses (12)_____(come) out, they
(13)________(do) a drum roll.

After a few days in London, we got on a train (14)____(call) the Eurostar to Paris.

The Eurostar goes fast it was amazing. While on the train, I learned some French from
a book. Mum (15)_____(say) that I picked it up quickly. We (16)____(visit) lots of places

in Paris. We went to Notre Dame which is a big, old church with stained glass windows
that (17)_____(stand) out like 1000 butterflies (18)_____(put) into a picture. They

(19)______(be) the most colorful pictures I had ever seen.
That night at 11 o’clock mum (20)_____(wake) me up as we were going to the Eiffel

Tower!!! It was glowing like gold. Mum said, “the next day we could go on it”. So we

did, it felt like I was a bird. I loved my trip.
