The most fabulous spot that I favored was the green canyon. I enjoyed seeing the

stream of the rivers. When it was difficult to shoot the view, I asked the people that

overwhelmed the place. I returned happily. I intended to go there another time.

                  Reading/Writing

I was a volunteer of assistant nurses when I spent my day off school. On a Friday night, I

sat on the floor of an intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital in Kebumen and prepared to wear
an N-95 mask inside a hazmat suit for hours and wore a surgical mask, disposable gloves,

and a disposable or washable apron. It was like an astronaut’s suit but it was the only option

as I had to spend the most time with patients suffering from the highly contagious coronavirus

disease COVID-19. I wondered was I doing it right, was I wearing the goggles right, was the

suit fitting properly, was I protected? Then, I prayed for a moment asking His blessing, and

called my family that I was in my duty.

After my body and soul had fully prepared, then, I checked the patient by inserting a 6-

inch long swab (like a long Q-tip) into the cavity between the nose and mouth for 15 seconds

and rotating it several times. The swab was then inserted into a container and sent to a lab

for testing. If she/he was positive, I carried her/him into an isolation room. I tried to keep

straight face to keep her/his spirits up — that’s my biggest challenge. They didn’t know if

they’re ever going to see their family again so I tried to keep their spirits up, prayed with

them, said ‘Everything will be OK.’ When all this was over, I changed my suits and cleaned

myself. My colleague, the patients, and I were just like family. And it was so an exciting
