The False Belief
By Faizan Ahmed Niaz FM 1218
Studies have proven that an illusory correlation happens when we
worry and over-emphasize one outcome and ignore all others.
Hundreds of psychological studies have proven that we tend to
overestimate the importance of events we can easily recall and
underestimate the importance of events we have trouble recalling. The
easier it is to remember, the more likely we are to create a strong
relationship between two things that are weakly related or not related
at all.
We believe in things which are illogical and scientifically naught with no
authentic source. We start believing and endorsing things, in the long
run make our lives uneasy by worrying about these imprudent.
There is a Hadith in Sahih Bukhari:
Translation: No disease comes on its own, taking something as ill
omen is prohibited and there is no inauspiciousness in owl or in the

month of Safar. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 5380)
Hence proved that these are the imaginary disbeliefs. We waste our
valuable time on these myths leaving ourselves in chaos and Believe in
depression. We rather disregard these vain tensions and make that

time productive by staying in content mood.
