Cole Younger and Belle Starr History leaves no doubt New each other and History proves it out
Belle birthed a child A little girl Some say was Coles By the name of Pearl
After Northfield Cole left the scene But Belle went on to Become the bandit queen
An outlaw haven
Belle named Younger’s bend Was the atmosphere Pearl was raised in
But a mother daughter Bond remarkably Survived and the proof Is there to see
Written for Belle When she went home By her daughter Pearl On her tombstone
“Shed not for her a bitter tear Nor give the heart to vain regret Tis but the casket that lies here The gem that fills it sparkles yet”
