Vietnam was
So long ago
But that war left Scars on your soul
God’s love is in you Radiating through
But it's dimmed by
The past that haunts you
I see it there
Written on your face Every time we meet And fondly embrace
To give advise I
Really have no right
But old friend I can
Point you toward the light
God said all souls in Jesus are mine
You are the branch And Christ the vine
All hurts from that war
Jesus can erase
Through prayer that will give You Vietnam grace

By Grace are you saved through faith. It is the gift of God.
