Mysore to Pune in my luggage. To my surprise, I was able to understand the text as it was in Marathi, though it had an unusual style of writing. I noticed that my father was born in the previous life in the same village as in the present life. He walked from there via Ainapur to Murgod, where he met the saint Chidambar Dixt who was an incarnated Saint. Chidambar Dixit blessed him with the Samadhi State, and later my father also traveled upto Shirsi. The text clearly mentions the names of villages that my father walked through. I searched the internet maps and actually found the same villages on that route. All this area is close to the route Kolhapur to Dharwad. That solved my riddle about my mental status while on this route.
In 2014, when I returned from Italy with one of my Italian Yoga students, we took a lot of trouble and found the village where the saint Chidambar Dixit lived. We were extremely thrilled to find that the original temple is still present, and the feeling at the place made us delighted. The joy of visiting the place of my father’s guru of the previous life made me feel extremely special. This feeling cannot be described. I also met the present successor of Chidambar Dixit and had a chance to discuss with him. I decided to publish this book at this sacred location. Just before leaving the body, Krishnanatha Maharaja called a few of his close devotees near to him and told them that he was about to leave the body, and a temple of Shree Dattatreya (a three headed deity in India) be built and the water from the feet of Shree Dattreya statue should flow into the Samadhi Shrine (tomb) of Krishnanatha Maharaj which contains his bones.
