Literacy week is a golden opportunity for adults to take part in literacy activities and inspire
children to become successful in school and life… and that is exactly what some ELC of
Duval staff members did on January 30th. They spread their love of literacy by reading
Chick Chicka Boom Boom, by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault to infants and toddlers

and Planting a Rainbow, by Lois Ehlert to preschoolers.

“It was so much fun and the children were such a joy” says Tinesha Byrd, who read to the

little ones at UNF Preschool.
