They deserve RESPECT for all the work they do for
children, families, and our communities each and
every day. Early childhood educators, directors,
and teachers came together in April to learn from
each other and numerous presenters, including
Holly Elissa Bruno, a best-selling author, radio host
and international keynote speaker.
The ELC of Duval helped sponsor the event, along
with the Florida Association for the Education
of Young Children (flaeyc), Episcopal Children’s
Services, Kids Hope Alliance, Bright Horizons and
Citi Bank.
Congratulations to our semi-annual “Core Value Winners!” Diane Wilder (CFR), Lori Smith
(Program Quality & Assessment) and Jeannette Garcia (Provider Services) were chosen
by their peers. “They embody our core values here at the ELC of Duval, including quality,
integrity, respect, service, teamwork, and education. These values are the essence of the
ELC. They are not just words on paper, but something we strive hard to live by everyday,”
says Denise Marzullo, President/CEO.
