When presenting an investment opportunity to our
customer, we need to consider that:
• It will cost money to raise the necessary investment
capital
• Some or all of their expenditure (especially CAPEX)
will occur now
• Some or all of the returns through efficiency savings
or increased revenues will occur in the future
• There is an associated risk with any project
