C. Cisco CUCM Migration Information Gathering

• Migration information can be gathered from the current CUCM
Equipment:

• 1. Cisco Unified Communications Manager (on customer current environment)

• To display the total license capacity and the number of licenses in use:
• Log in to Cisco Unified CM Administration web application.
• Choose System
• Choose Licensing
• Choose License Unit Report - This provides the total license capacity and the number of licenses in use. Cisco
Unified Communications Manager generates a report that lists the total number of available licenses. The license unit
• report also displays the software license version that is installed on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager
server.

• 2. Cisco Unity Connection (on customer current environment)

• To View the License Usage for Cisco Unity Connection:
• Go into Cisco Unity Connection Administration
• Expand System Settings
• Select Licenses
• On the Licenses page, under License Count, the license usage for the Unity Connection server appears.
