Mixing

Pre-mix Part A (resin) for about 30 seconds using a jiffy mixer (Figure 1).
Pour Part B (hardener) into the Part A pail and mix thoroughly for 2
                                                                                 o
minutes. Pot life is approximately 10 minutes @ 70 F in the container.

                   Installation

                                                                                                    o
Do not apply SEMSTONE 140 when surface temperature is below 35 F.

For application, the SEMSTONE 140 base coat/sealer resin-hardener
                                                                       o
should be at a minimum temperature of 70 F.

Always pour the material as soon as it is blended. In the container, the
pot life is approximately 10 minutes. The working life once poured is
                          approximately 30 minutes.

Always spread immediately after pouring. Cold concrete temperatures will
cause a viscosity increase, therefore, the longer the cool surface contact
before spreading to 30 mils the more increasingly difficult it becomes.

Spread the Part A and B mixture with a roller with a medium (3/8”) nap at
a rate of 50 square feet per gallon (30 mils).

NOTE: Additional material will be required if surface is rough.

Allow to cure until non-tacky to touch. This time period may vary
depending on temperatures. See the following table:
