escape toward the back door. She lost her footing, slipping in her brother’s blood, and fell to the floor. The woman bounced off the door and kicked Sienna as she struggled to get up. Sienna rolled over with the momentum of the kick getting to her feet. The in- truder brought her right foot high trying to kick Sienna in the face. Sienna had seen the woman’s eyes telegraph her intentions and countered by dropping to the floor on both hands with her left foot spinning vigorously she swept the female hard from her feet. Completing her spin while the woman was in midair, Sienna rose to her feet, and renewed her flight towards the back door.
Boom! The killer fell hard butt first to the floor.
Dazed, the woman grabbed her pistol swung and fired to- ward the rear of the house.
Ping! The shot struck the wall next to Sienna’s head as she bolted toward the back door. The woman got up quickly grabbed a speed loader from her pocketbook and ran in pursuit of Si- enna. She burst out of the door, spotted her prey and reloaded her weapon.
Sienna ran full speed for her trampoline jumping onto the box her brothers used to climb on. She sprang from the box hit- ting the trampoline dead center, bouncing towards the neighbors fenced in yard. A shot rang out. Sienna fell into the neighbor’s yard rolling behind their shed. As she lay on the ground, an- other body sprang from the trampoline. Sienna grabbed a hoe propped against the shed and poised to strike. Then saw a stick come around the corner and swung the hoe.
“It’s okay honey. She’s dead,” said Visara, jumping back up as Sienna ran sobbing into her arms. “We need to get out of here quick because I have a feeling this is no where close to over. I’m glad I got here when I did. Are you okay?” Visara questioned, for she noticed blood on Sienna’s shirt.
“Thank God you showed,” Sienna said gratefully. Have I told you lately how much I love the Chinese?”
“I’m just half Chinese. Now let’s go get your brothers.”
