than nothing. Besides, he was burning night. It was time to go. He looked left, right, and rear for the last time and up into the stars, as he started to climb. Although in good shape halfway up the building, Sky realized his heart was racing. He wondered if his team members could hear it. Three stories, he thought. This is no easy task. Three-fourths of the way up the building, he had an amusing thought. He wished he was James Bond with Q as backup. This would really be a piece of cake, he thought.
Reality returned quickly as he realized he was holding on by his sheer strength; he had to continue. He wedged his feet be- tween the building then moved his hands and feet alternating. Finally he touched the top of the building. He took a few deep breaths to savor his triumph. With a final burst of strength and muscle tensing, he heaved himself up the building just above the waist. He paused only for about two seconds realizing that he had to move quickly. There were people counting on him. He could feel his whole body smiling with the knowledge that he had arrived and would be rappelling down. It was time to get on with the business at hand. He low-crawled to the front edge of the building and removed his weapon and scope. He punched his stopwatch: tick, tick, tick. Seven seconds.
“Damn I’m good,” he thought.
He rolled to his right arriving at the edge of the building. Sky was open for business.
He looked through his scope and panned from left to right and back again. The scope fogged. Quietly he spit in his hand, rubbed it carefully on both ends of the lens, and wiped it gently. The scope was aimed at the front of the mark on Boxwood Street. He panned again to check for any suspicious activity. He was glad that the area was close to the edge of town with a few resi- dences and business mixed in which would lessen the confusion. The security element at the base of the building was also observ- ing the mark. A few people had approached the mailbox there and made what looked from a distance like deposits and with- drawals. Skeptical at first after witnessing this activity for a few
