“Unless the death of the children was just a warning and had nothing to do with this software. But that doesn’t make sense. How do you happen to have that computer along? Do you carry that rucksack everywhere?”
“Everywhere!” Jennifer chimed in. “Believe me, where she goes it goes.”
“I put the software in my rucksack as Mom called asking me to pick up the boys. Just think, if I hadn’t had my hands full picking up the boy’s stuff, I might not have been wearing it.” I thought it was the programming software dad promised me.”
“Don’t worry, honey,” Jennifer assured Sienna, “believe me, we’re are glad you brought it.”
“Amen!” added Visara. “You think you can figure out how this stuff works?”
“Sure. But it may take a little while. In order to check it out, I’ll need a live phone jack.”
“I think we have been here long enough. Let’s get you to one before someone else gets killed,” Visara said.
“You mean that someone may already have contracts on other people or other families?” Jennifer asked in amazement.
“That’s right. And the best reason we should all be getting to safety.”

“Hold it honey,” she said and stared at the man on the screen for a full 30 seconds before shoving the car into gear.
“You know him don’t you,” Jennifer said.
“It looks like someone I know, but I can’t be sure,” Visara lied.
Sienna clicked the screen again.
“There’s the bitch that tried to kill my daughter in the mall!” Jennifer hollered. “That sends shivers up my spine. What if there are more of these killers out there looking for us right now?”
“Well, now I know what our next move is,” Visara said confidently.
