“I thought I was dead too, until I woke up in pain. I guess almost any caliber at point blank range can really knock you out.”
“How did you find us?” Sienna asked.
“That angel I gave your mother is part of a tracking device in case something like this happened.”
“How did you get here?” Sienna queried.
“When you have time one day, I will tell you all about it. For now, there are things to be done. You two are much tougher than I thought. Do you know who that was?”
“Yes, Jennifer said.
“He was the FBI agent who killed my mother,” interrupted Sienna.
“How did you know?”
“He told us. But in the garage, he did some of the same things you and Visara did bringing us here.”
“Any idea why he turned bad?” Jennifer inquired.
“No Ma’am. But believe me, we will find out. I found this gun outside the window. it was his wasn’t it?”
“I was trying to steal it from him, said Jennifer, but he punched me when I got caught. I threw it out of the window as I fell back. I’m glad I did. He might have killed us with it.
“Judging by the shape he is in now, it’s probably a good thing you didn’t have the gun. You two relax while I clean things up in the other room,” Sky said painfully coming to his feet.
“I see your leg is hurt, Jennifer noticed. “You sit. We’ll clean up. God I hurt all over but it sure is great to be alive.”
“I’ll be right back,” Sky said, going to the garage to get a body bag.
Sienna went to the table to boot up her laptop.
“You never leave that computer do you little one,” said Sky. “Not for long,” Sienna confessed.
