“Humph! she smirked, “There’s a news flash for you. Igno- rant newsmen. They can make up a story if there needs to be one,” she said to herself.
Vroom! Cars entered the garage.
“It’s about time,” she complained to herself while rushing to open the door.
Marcus came in the door first with a wounded man in his arms.
“Great to see you, Visara,” he grunted.
“Hi. Take him to the first bedroom. I’m already setup.” One by one the team came in, greeted Visara and closed the
door.
“You can leave now I’ve got him,” she added, surveying the
man’s wound.
Just as Marcus left the room, Seige entered.
“Into the lair of the stone fox,” said Seige smiling.
“And I can still deal with the wolves.”
“How does it look?”
“The good news is there is no bullet inside. Whoever placed
this pressure dressing on him probably saved his life. Oh, and another thing, I have some very important news for you so don’t go too far away.”
