“Daddy, do we have to go now?” Sienna pleaded. “We just got here.”
“Honey, all of us will be leaving shortly. We’ve got planning, rehearsals, and a bunch of last minute things to do. I need to do them to make sure we get together again, okay?”
“I understand. I love you, Daddy.” She hugged and kissed him.
“I love you too, sweetheart.”
He hugged her anew.
Jennifer latched onto Seige the second Sienna released.
“I never realized what a soldier I was married to. I love you, sweetheart, and please take care of yourself, and the rest of our family.”
“I love you too dear, and I have the best reason in the world to take care.”
His family walked away with their bodyguards. Sky was the last one limping out the door.
“Sky,” Seige called, approaching rapidly, “thanks partner. I’m eternally in your debt.”
“I’ll keep ‘em safe,” Sky pledged, “while you go get those dirt-bags.”
“You got it, partner,” Seige said hugging him.
To his task force, Seige said, “I think we’ve shutdown the mouthpiece that was putting our team at risk. And from what we should be able to get from this software, we may have the whole crew. I know we’ve all sustained loss trying to stop Blue Heaven, and God knows it’s a just cause to prevent the slime that manu- factures it, but tonight we strike at the head of the snake and his poison for a change. Just remember, when this raid starts both objectives must be hit on the second. Now let’s complete this operations order because tonight is payback.”
