The BAYADA Way of Operating an Office: Home Care May 2019
 Sources
The recommendations were identified through an intensive review of:
 • Existing processes in one or more BAYADA offices
• External processes proven successful by other organizations • Newly created processes.
In addition to the internal information gathering (from BAYADA offices), an extensive external research project was undertaken. The objective of this was to identify processes that have been successful in other home care organizations, but that have not been adopted at BAYADA.
Development Team
The Home Care teams were comprised of division directors, area directors, directors, clinical managers, client services managers, recruiting managers, and a number of support office employees. Team members represented 25 service offices from across the company and
9 support offices. In addition, 44 service offices (22 of which provided skilled or pediatric services and 22 that provided assistive care services) were visited, and their practices and ideas were gathered. In all, over 60 offices that provide home care services contributed
to the findings in this Playbook. Consultants from Pricewaterhouse Coopers were instrumental in coordinating the initiative.
BAYADA employees— including not only the project team but also those who participated in information-gathering sessions, technology development, and external research—
have spent thousands of hours of time gathering the information in this Playbook.
