MEMBER/GUEST BAG STORAGE SERVICE
Process:
It is absolutely essential that bag storage at Congressional Country Club is completely se- cure. The Club assumes responsibility for this equipment and therefore must ensure that the most professional steps are taken in regards to security, accurate identi cation, and proper storage conditions. A sense of con dence must be displayed to those choosing to use our bag storage process so that they become trustworthy of our service.
Practice Points:
All items must be clearly tagged with complete identi cation (Member or Guest Tag)
Always clean all items to be stored (bag, irons, woods, etc.)
• Grooves should be checked and cleaned
Once the clubs are spotless and all head covers
are accounted for, put the members bag in their designated storage space. Make sure all bags are in the CORRECT location!
If a guest is storing a bag, the guest name should be added to the whiteboard with corresponding storage space number.
There should never be any bags left on the oor of bag room at any time.
All bags being stored, whether member/guest bags, should be assigned a speci c storage stall and the number should be recorded in appropriate location on whiteboard.
If a member is setting up a new storage space: 1. Complete an ADD/REMOVE Form 2. Submit to Golf Shop for billing
3. Assign a vacant spot
4. Create a new member bag tag with name and stall number
5. Update the Bag Roster List, Excel Spreadsheet and stall location
The Professional Team will provide a tournament list or a tee sheet with member bag report. For events.
Pull bags the evening before.
Re-check clubs for cleanliness.
When Loading Bags on Carts, please:
Make sure clubs are clean, organized and ready for play.
Carts are Fully Stocked. Ensure the cart is clean.
All equipment stored in bag storage facility becomes the responsibility of the Club. It is up to each team member to ensure the security of this equipment. OWN THIS AREA.
