LOCKER ROOM
Process:
The Locker Room is an integral part of the overall Congressional experience for our mem- bers and guests. The interaction between members, guests and the team in the locker room contributes to our commitment of an atmosphere and culture of hospitality. We strive to set a standard for service that far exceeds expectations and goes well beyond the com- mon amenities offered at most clubs. Above all else, the locker room is a “home” for our members and guests and they should always feel comfortable, recognized and familiar.
Practice Points:
Upon entering the Locker Room, members and guests will receive a warm welcome from the Locker Room Team. It is expected that we will address members by name.
The Locker Room Team should review the Tee Sheet as well as the Daily Report so as to be prepared for any contingency.
As each shift begins and throughout the day, the Locker Room Team should walk through each area of the locker room, including the Men’s Card Room to make sure it is clean, organized and fully stocked.
As needed, any supplies should be re-stocked. If back stock is low, please alert the Locker Room Manager to re-order.
Immediately communicate member/guest feedback, locker/key requests, and any repair needs to the Locker Room Manager.
We strive to provide solutions when issues arrive. If we can’t immediately answer a question, we will research the issue further and follow up with the member and or guest in a timely manner.
Members and or Guests needing directions to the various areas of the club will at all times be personally escorted to their destination.
Each television in the lounge area should be turned on with volume appropriately adjusted.
Acceptable channels include ESPN, Golf Channel, or other Sports Events.
Beverage Station and Snack Station should be cleaned and stocked regularly throughout the day.
All shoe services should be completed with the utmost care in a timely manner.
At the end of the day we are in the business of making people happy and having fun doing so along the way.
