HOURS OF OPERATION
Process:
Establish work hours that will respect the priorities of our external and internal guests ensuring of ce coverage, service levels and responsiveness while delivering to the Club’s bottom line.
Practice Points:
Hours vary by season. Outside service is to be on- site 1 hour prior to the rst tee time. Professional team is to be on-site 1 hour prior to rst tee time. Golf Shop is to be open and ready for business 1 hour prior to the rst tee time, while range should be set 30 minutes prior to the rst tee time.
At least one Professional and Outside team member need to be available between working hours at all times. To do so communicate your schedule with other co-workers (i.e. stagger lunches, communicate lesson bookings, etc.)
Work as a team to ensure all areas are covered throughout the day.
When closing Golf Shop, never force members/ guests out just because of posted closing time
In the morning if members are waiting, please open and allow them into the shop.
At the end of the day use your judgment; if you feel there are members who require the opportunity to visit the golf shop after the round, please stay so they can do so.
Always keep voice mail current with whereabouts, but keep it brief.
Maintain daily communication with Director of Athletics, Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional.
Always use out of of ce reply on email when taking time away.
