GOLF STUDIO
Process:
The Golf Studio is designed to provide the Congressional Member the ability to continue to work on their game throughout the off-season. This area provides the opportunity to experience technology to become mentally prepared, receive professional instruction, and enjoy a golf experience during the off-season. The goal of the Studio is to provide a dynamic opportunity to improve the player’s game.
Practice Points:
Driving range and Instruction Tee must be fully The Golf Studio will having regular operating hours between the dates of November 15th and March 15th.
Each teaching bay will operate using Trackman. These bays are only to be operated by trained Professional team. Members may use the Trackman bays at no charge to practice if an Instructor or Professional team is not using the bays for golf instruction.
Opening and operating procedures are available to setup each area in the Studio.
Each teaching bay will be setup by connecting the laptop to the Trackman to project a range image onto the hitting net. An iPad will be connected to the Trackman to provide shot data and video to the player through the TV mounted on the wall. Each Trackman will have two iPod touches utilized for video, one down the line of the player and one head on.
The TruGolf simulator will be available for the membership and their guests to utilize for practice or play. The Simulator can be reserved online or by contacting the Studio. The fee is $20 for an hour of use per person.
The Foresight Game Changer can be used by a member in the hitting bay. This unit can provide feedback on ball data such as spin, launch angle, and carry distance.
The Studio team is responsible for maintaining
the cleanliness of the Studio throughout the day. Housemen will daily check the Studio for trash and maintain.
