GOLF COURSE PRACTICES
Process:
In addition to the team’s daily maintenance practices, it is the responsibility of both golf departments leadership to ensure course set-up is up to standards, on course facilities are stocked appropriately and to look for any other issues which may affect play.
Practice Points:
Hole Location sheets are accurate and printed for each course daily and available for players at the Starter Stand.
Sand bottles on each golf cart  lled.
All course coolers should be  lled with water bottles and iced down each morning before play begins. (Blue #5 & #14, Gold #2 & #11).
Water and ice levels maintained throughout the day by course marshals
Water fountains and coolers cleaned and sanitized daily.
All course ball washers will be in good working condition and wiped down/painted as needed.
Signage clean, consistent and appropriately located.
On-course restrooms cleaned and stocked each morning, and monitored throughout the day.
Both the Agronomy and Golf Shop Professional Team’s should ensure;
Hole Locations are accurate and appropriate for play.
Green conditions and speeds are up to standards, pitch marks repaired each morning.
Fairway conditions are up to standards, divots repaired as appropriate.
Cart signage in correct position.
Bunkers have been raked, are free of rocks and stones; rakes are appropriately placed.
Hazard stakes are vertical and equally spaced and hazard lines are vivid and accurate.
Flags, rakes and  agsticks will be monitored for damage and wear, and replaced as necessary.
The Lightning System will be checked monthly by the golf shop to ensure it is functioning properly.
No unattended agronomy equipment should be located in play areas.
On-course trash receptacles should be emptied daily, and during the day if necessary.
Cart Paths should be clear of debris with all troubled areas documented.
The course will be marked every 2-3 weeks, and in addition, prior to the Club’s “Majors.”
