sponsoring events, the Bank sends a team UNITY PARTICIPATES IN 250+
of employees every month to work on the community events, sponsorships
& volunteer opportunities
farm. Unity has been recognized by this
organization as an outstanding partner
supplying consistent support year to year.

For almost a decade the Bank has
coordinated a special holiday service project.
Employees have the option to donate any
amount through payroll deduction and the 1 hand = 10 events
Bank matches the amount. At the end of the
year these funds are donated to a local food
pantry in the immediate community of each
branch. Representatives from the Branch
deliver the donation and employees see the
impact in their own neighborhood. In 2018,
nineteen food pantries received funds. OUTSTANDING PARTNER

Finally, our UCare program began in 2010
as a way for the Bank to give its customers 19 FOOD PANTRIES
a say in which local organizations are
received funds through
supported. Non-profit organizations that employee payroll deductions
bank with Unity can enroll in the UCare matched by Unity Bank
program. UCare works by letting customers
designate their accounts as supporters of
their chosen UCare partner. At the end of
each quarter, Unity donates a percentage
of the total amount in all the supporter’s
accounts at no cost to the supporter. With
this affinity partnership, the non-profit
spreads the word to their supporters, 150+ NONPROFITS
which attracts new customers to the Bank, enrolled in UCare as of 2018
and provides growth in donations to the
organization. As of 2018, there are over
150 non-profit organizations enrolled in the
program.
