What are the general rulings in the make up of the missed fasts?Some scholars say she only needs to make up the missed days.Some scholars differentiate between the two types of pregnant women. The one who breaks the fast due to difficulty on her own body only needs to make up the missed days. The one who breaks the fast due to potential harm to her baby needs to make up the days and pay fidya.Some scholars, such as ibn %u2018Abbas and ibn %u2018Omar, say she doesn't have to make up the days; she just needs to pay a fidya. This is a minority opinion.Are pregnant and nursing women able to break the fast?
