CEFR separates English levels according to each grade because each level
needs to be developed in a good way. It means that there are some content that
are include in A1, A2 and B1 level.
The reasons that those level are divides is that students should cover those level
with these topics in a way that students should feel comfortable and understand
all the materials and classes that are given at school. People prefer a slow but
understood class rather than a faster and misunderstood class.
Students who domain B1 level are able to develop correctly the four skills that
CEFR propose to Ecuadorian schools for teaching English, which are: Listening,
Reading, Speaking and Writing.
Listening: Understand the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar
matters regularly encountered in informal situations at school or work. Moreover,
students will be able to understand the main point of many radio or television
programs on topics of personal or professional interest.
Reading: Understand texts that consist mainly of high-frequency, everyday
language and understand the description of events, feelings, and wishes in
personal letters.
