Bwlch
The village sits at the highest point of the A40, there is
a great little pub and some good walking options, for
example you can follow the Bwlch with Fortitude 7.5 mile
route to Tretower Court and Castle, to admire the 11th
century tower and remains of the 15th century manor house.
Llangors
This pretty village has a popular pub and a caravan park
by the Lake plus a community shop and café (by the
village hall). Head down to the Lake to visit the replica
medieval Crannog on stilts in the water and feed the
ducks. If you have a dog, spend a few pounds to support
the community at the dog wash (by the public toilets).
