Just outside the village of Llangors you will find the
Base Camp Café at Llangorse Multi Activity Centre p49
- serving a variety of freshly-prepared meals.
The Coach & Horses p65 in Llangynidr is a lovely canal
side pub and restaurant that specialises in steak and
seafood, it has a beer garden that backs onto the canal.
Llangynidr Deli p65 has a well stocked shop to pick up
ingredients for a barbeque, a picnic or something special
to take home to stock up ready for a barbeque!
What to do.
The Llangorse Multi Activity Centre p49 offers an
outdoor assault course and indoor rock climbing and
bouldering, great for when it’s raining. They run family
taster days and are open until 10pm. The Centre also
includes Llangorse Riding Centre p51 for pony trekking
and trail riding as does Ellesmere Riding Centre p50 on
the road down to the Lake.
You can climb up and down the Allt in a couple of hours
(quite steep and rocky) for an amazing 360° view. Start at
the layby outside Bwlch near the public toilets and burger
van.

Stargazing site:
Talybont: Drive up and walk along the dam at Talybont
reservoir to enjoy the stars above the water.
