BRONLLYS: THE NEXT TEN YEARS (2020-2030)
2 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This year we celebrate 100 years of Bronllys Community Hospital and experience in sharp focus the enormous value of our NHS. We also see the importance of preparing well for the next decade. It is important to take into account the many challenges we all face and the need to plan sustainably, with the well-being of current and future generations in mind.
This Report sets out the plans of Bronllys Well Being Park (CLT) Limited (BWBP). This organisation is a not-for-profit community group that is working with the Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) and Powys County Council (PCC). Our goal is to secure the future of the vital services at Bronllys Community Hospital and its beautiful setting.
BWBP is working to create a unique and inspiring Well Being Park which will complement and support current services. We also hope to introduce new facilities that will strengthen the economic, health and social well-being of the communities of Bronllys, Talgarth, Hay-on-Wye and surrounding areas.
The concerns and aspirations of these communities are discussed in this Report. This document also highlights the expert advice and wide-ranging support BWBP is receiving from so many quarters.
