BRONLLYS: THE NEXT TEN YEARS (2020-2030)
3 INTRODUCTION BY BWBP’S PRESIDENT & CHAIR
“We are really pleased to introduce the Bronllys Well Being Park CLT’s Report: ‘Bronllys: the Next Ten Years, 2020-2030 – Working Together for Well Being’.
This report provides an overview regarding the background of our organisation and its ambitions for the people of Bronllys, Talgarth, Hay-on-Wye and surrounding communities. Describing how the Board has performed to date, it highlights our key achievements and reviews the challenges and risks ahead.
Our first years aimed at building relationships with Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB), Powys County Council (PCC) and other stakeholders. We encouraged stakeholders to support our objectives and proposals, which gained widespread affirmation from our membership, local Town & Community Councils, AM’s, MP and Welsh Government.
The support for the NHS has never been stronger, especially in light of the recent pandemic and continues for Bronllys Community Hospital to remain central to our proposals. We have been working to refine these in line with local need. In October 2019 we presented our latest proposals to local communities to ensure that they were well-received and consistent with expectations.
