Why The Crew Hunter?

With this all-encompassing view, we then apply our expertise, to quantify and qualify the job requirements. We search the market to ensure a closeness
of  t that extends beyond just the ‘right skills for the job’. The bene t of this additional due diligence is to give a more valid, accurate and reliable method for reducing recruitment risk and ensuring longevity.

The Crew Hunter works alongside The Crew Academy, which allows us to spend anywhere from one day up to three weeks, eight hours a day, with its alumni and this enables us to get to know our clients above and beyond the interview stage.
Unlike the ‘revolving door’ of many other recruitment agency, who often never meet their clients or the rest of the crew on board, we are better positioned to provide a more reliable service thereby cutting recruitment risks and reducing recruitment fees in the long term. We safeguard our clients’ interests by offering payment of our placement fees only after the trial period and with a six month guarantee.
Training Investment Programme
We are committed to the improvement of standards of service and professional development in yachting. It is for this reason we offer signi cant bene ts to those utilising our services. Speci cally, we will reinvest 15% of any placement fees into a training fund that can be used for all courses offered by The Crew Academy.
The training fund is used at the discretion of the management company, Captain or Owner for either the entire crew or for individuals. The choice is then made as to whether they prefer a bespoke on-board training package or join a scheduled course. For example, longterm clients of The Crew Hunter, MY Ecstasea, were able to pool their recruitment fees using the training investment programme and provide advanced interior service training at our facilities.
Our committment to crew training is proven by the fact that your training fund will not expire, instead they build and accumulate with each on-board placement.
