Traction Angle Settings
• J, I settings – commonly used for axial distraction during the acute phase of care.
• *NOTE – The fulcrum assembly is not generally used with these traction arm settings. The fulcrum
strap may be removed by sliding each end of the strap from the fulcrum strap posts.
• **NOTE – Traction pressure in the iTrac software will generally be 15-25 lbs for these traction arm
settings, depending on patient stature (large patients = 20-25lbs, small/average patients = 15-20lbs).
