do not act. If people, who are so called believers, are a friend
of the world, it is like committing adultery, so God regards
them as unclean. In the verse we read today, it says clearly
that it is making an enmity with God, and also the whole Bi-
ble testifies it. Nevertheless, if you do not know it, you should

know it is not that you believe, but you are being used by de-
mons. If you have the world in you and have friendship with
the world, the divine Holy Spirit is never able to live in you.
In this case, the Holy Spirit, who comes near to help your
faith, may even leave at some point.

Today’s message what I am talking is not that you have not
been able to hear, nor is that I did not tell you. While we are
on the earth, all things that are more than necessities are

the world. Whatever it is, all things besides what is necessary,
are the world. Clothes are necessary for us. Those are neces-
sary to protect our body from cold and heat and to cover our
body, so those are not the world. However, if we decorate to
make clothes stand out, or if we follow the fashion trend of

the times, it is absolutely the world. If we put values on the
things of expensive and luxury goods, and if it is showing
off and is for self-satisfaction, it is the cosmos world that has
already become an enemy of God.

In the verse that says, ‘You adulterous people’, the
