                                The wicked things to God

snare to them later, so they were destroyed. In Joshua 6, the

LORD said to Joshua to command the people not to take any
of things in the city when the city Jericho fell. In Joshua 6:17,
it says, The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the

LORD, and verse18 says, But keep away from the devoted
things, so that you will not bring about your own destruc-
tion by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the
camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it.
‘Devoted to the LORD’ means that ‘Satan, who is an enemy
of God and the cursed things which come from Satan, are
determined to be destroyed by God’. In short, it means ‘the

cursed thing’. And verse 18 means, ‘Protect yourself from
the things that will be perished, and if you take any of them,
the camp of Israel will be ruined with curses.’ That is to say,
those are the things that come from those who serve Satan,

and are the things of the cosmos world, which comes from
               humanism that is without God.
Then Israel, who had a great victory over the great city
of Jericho, went on to war against Ai, but they were defeated.
In the war against Ai where only a few people live, they

were ashamed with a complete defeat. You probably know
the reason because you have read the Bible. It was because
Achan took the devoted things. It was because he took the
cursed things that were determined to be perished. So it is

said in Joshua 7:1, the LORD’s anger burned against the sons
