        A LETTER FROM
        YOUR EXECUTIVE STAFF

        Colleagues,

It’s hard to believe that just a few short months ago we were talking about the beginning of the new
year and all the plans we had for 2020, both at Hope and in our personal lives. Now, everyone,
everywhere, is faced with cancellations, closings, and more. This is an unprecedented time not only for
Hope, but for the world. However, as we look to the future, I am positive that Hope will come through
this time stronger, and better, than ever.

I am so proud of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of our Hope teams. When faced with a challenge,
you all have risen to the occasion with the first thought being not of yourselves, but how we can
continue to serve our children and their families. We are constantly trying to find new and better ways
to serve others and that is why there is no place like Hope.

Our Residential Academy has remained open this entire time, with our dedicated staff continuously
showing up every day to take care of our kiddos. In the programs that have been closed due to the
pandemic, we have implemented several new ways to continue to serve our children. We have
implemented remote learning at both of our schools in Springfield and Chicago with success. Our clinical
programs at The Autism Clinic at Hope and Therapy Relief at Hope have also begun offering telehealth
services to their families which has proven to be successful. We’ve harnessed the power of virtual
meetings; enabling our teams at ICPN and TAP to continue their community and professional trainings,
while allowing all our teams and programs at Hope to stay connected to one another.

Change can be very uncomfortable at times, however, even in the most uncomfortable situations you
will often find a greater outcome. I believe Hope will grow from the challenges we and the world are
currently facing and will be a better, stronger organization moving forward. We are finding new ways to
keep our programs moving at Hope and I am very excited for what is to come.

Please take care of yourselves during this time and do not hesitate to reach out with questions or
        concerns. Be well.
